FCP 101 Final Cut Pro I:
This is an introductory course designed
for filmmakers and editors who want to utilize basic editing
functions of Final Cut Pro 5.0.
Following Apple’s recommended curriculum,
the course covers basic setup, digitizing, adjusting and
customizing preferences and setting, capturing video/audio,
project management, edit sync material, trim sequences,
slip and slide editing, audio editing, video generators,
creating titles and final output - including laying back
to videotape and exporting audio as an OMF file for use
in a sound sweetening environment.
Students will be equipped with sufficient
knowledge on Final Cut Pro 5.0 to be certified as Final
Cut Pro Level I user by Apple after this course.

One-Week [weekday]

Monday- Saturday, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Weekend Program:
12 Hours / Tuition $720
Saturday & Sunday 10am – 5pm

102 Final Cut Pro II:
This course explores more advanced features
of Final Cut Pro 5.0, such as the Audio Mixer, the Audio-Select
controls in the Timeline, and Multi-camera operations, to
add speed and flexibility to your editing toolkit, special
effects and corrections with video filters, advanced video
composing, final rendering and output for the preparation
of DVD Studio Pro and web stream.
This course also covers advanced online/offline
workflow and how to work at various resolutions. Learn a
structured approach to editing each project, learn how to
design and optimize your own systems, add-on soft and hardware.

One-Week [weeknight]
