Esthetics of Video Editing:
This course is designed to introduce
the basic principles of editing picture and sound, providing
an in-depth overview of the techniques that professional
editors employ to orchestrate compelling narratives.
Instructors will conduct in-class examinations of scenes
from assorted types of genre, including feature films, documentaries,
music videos, and commercials, allowing students to grasp
the appropriate application of various editing techniques
for different types of project. Hands-on practices will
then follow the examinations to ensure students’ full
understanding of the course content.
Students must have basic knowledge of the operation of Final
Cut Pro or Avid Xpress Pro in order to perform in-class
assignments, but no prior editing experience is required
for the class.

One-Week [weeknight] Program:
18 Hours / Tuition $940
Monday- Saturday, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
